For one action, you can place a Camp and your Expedition Leader (from anywhere) on a fully revealed tile.

Place an Archeologist from the reserve on a tile with a Camp — OR — move your Expedition Leader from anywhere to a tile with a Camp.

Move your Expedition Leader to an adjacent tile. When an Expedition Leader moves, they may freely bring up to 3 Archaeologists on their tiles with them.

Remove a tile that your Expedition Leader is on, and that has no more than one other tile overlapping it. For every Explorer (Leader or Archaeologist) on the tile, the Excavation cost is reduced by 1.

Snow tiles compose the first layer in the game. Once removed, Snow Tiles are taken into a player’s hand. At any time during a player’s turn, they may play a Snow Tile for free and trigger its effect, and then discard the tile.

Artifacts are found within the middle three layers of tiles, and become more powerful the deeper you go. Once removed, they are placed on a player’s Guild board. During the game, players can unlock their abilities — each with its own special power.

Players start with 2 Request cards and can obtain more throughout the game. The Artifacts players obtain and then send to The City can validate the Requests at the end of the game to score Renown Points.

Soft Legacy: A Game ends when a player reveals an Edifice.
