Lead your tribe to survival in a world ruled by gods and shaped by natural disasters. This theme-driven adventure has the soul of a Eurogame, but hardcore events will make the board evolve, forcing you to adapt or face extinction. Tindaya will fit any group, with its Solo, Coop and Competitive modes.
All pledges can be cancelled until the Pledge Manager closes. We will let you know when will it be closed at least one week in advance, to give you enough time to cancel your pledge. Refunds will be given minus a 15% fee to cover payment processing fees and related costs.
This project is being funded in EUROS, so all refunds will be in this currency for the same amount received (excluding the above deduction, if applicable). So, if your currency is not EURO, there may be an exchange rate difference for or against you.
Terms and Conditions
This section is usually printed in the smallest possible font, but it’s actually rather important. Please, read it carefully.
The final look of the game may differ in color, art, shape or materials from what is shown on the campaign. We don’t expect this to happen, but please consider this is a prototype, and some aspects may need adjustments. The rules may also suffer some minor twitching.
Tax and duties
In some territories like USA, Canada and some Asian countries, you won’t be charged anything but the pledge and shipment cost at any moment in time. Check for the detailed list in the FAQ section.
In EU, UK, Australia & New Zealand you will be charged with your country’s VAT or GST during the pledge management phase, in addition to the shipping cost. But you won’t have to pay or worry about anything from this moment onwards.
In all other cases, we will only charge you for shipment, because we won’t be able to pay for you the taxes and duties applicable to your country. So, please, be aware you will most likely face additional charges at your expense, or will need to go through some paperwork once the game reaches your country.
Our job is to deliver the game to the address entered in your pledge. Yours is to enter it correctly, so you will be fully liable if the information provided is not correct.
The cost of shipping is an estimate and may vary when charged during the pledge management.
We can’t deliver to PO boxes.
Your order will be delivered to a single address, even if you pledged for several units of the game.
We are unable to deliver orders to North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria and Cuba. Sorry about that! For China, please check the parallel crowdfunding campaign run by Yoka Games on April. (We can deliver a Chinese version of the game outside the Chinese territory, so the language will be available at your pledge, but not the Country.)
In territories without friendly shipping, if an order gets lost, we will send a new one, but you will be charged with the new shipping costs.
You are ensured first wave delivery in your region. This means that the game will not hit the stores until you have it at home. However, the delivery of the game will be broken into at least five different batches that will travel to different hubs around the world at different speeds. As some will arrive sooner than others, we will not hold up the remaining shipments to wait for yours. Similarly, if your shipment gets lost and needs to be replaced, the rest of the pledges will still be delivered as soon as possible.
Long-Lasting Design: Tindaya is designed to survive godly catastrophes and last for many years, always using materials as durable as possible. If you ever consider getting rid of it, we strongly recommend selling it or giving it away instead.
Sustainable Materials: This game contains some recyclable plastic parts. All of it is new plastic and of the highest quality, but at the end of the day, it's still plastic. If you would like to purchase an almost completely plastic free version of Tindaya, please consider waiting for the retail edition, which will only contain some plastic bases for the standees and zip bags to store the components. It will obviously not contain Gamefound exclusive components, but the game experience will be similar.
No manufacturing transportation: We work with a single manufacturer, eliminating the need for transportation during the production phase.
Sustainable Distribution: We provide 100% plastic-free packaging and protective materials for all our orders.
Risks and challenges
During three years of game development, we had to deal with beasts, demons, and supernatural forces that seemed to conspire to destroy our plans, shatter our dreams, and eat our flowers. We do not expect the road ahead to be entirely without obstacles either; that would be so not Tindaya.
Let us get the obvious out of the way. Things that seemed far-fetched a few years ago are now part of our daily lives. At the risk of stepping into fortune cookie territory, we have learned that nothing is certain and that weird things do happen.
In particular, the COVID crisis is changing the world in ways that few could have predicted. Tindaya will cross several borders to get to you, so restrictions on mobility in any of these could affect our plans, new Geopolitical crises may also have an impact, and, while the current shipping chaos is expected to improve by Summer, that remains to be seen.
So, the biggest risks to the project are delays. To a lesser extent in production, where some specific steps are critical, but in a major way during delivery.
To mitigate these risks and make our timeline realistic, on the production side we have advanced all the work we could (including molds), before actually turning on the printer. In relation to delivery, we have partnered with trusted and experienced players, and have come up with backup plans to cover any eventuality we could imagine (up to a mildly aggressive alien invasion).
