We wanted to post a follow-up update to let you all know that production is underway of the items available for Wave 1 shipping. We’ve been communicating regularly with our factories to closely monitor the progress being made.

One of the most exciting activities right now is the production of the new Game Trayz designed trays feature in the Deluxe Upgrade and Emperor Chest. We wanted to share some behind the scene pictures, but don’t worry, the below photos are taken before the final trimming and finishing are done to the trays, so yours will come pristine.

With production underway, we’ve been told to expect a 55-65 days completion time. We’re going to keep our finger on the pulse of production and keep you all updated in the coming weeks.

As a reminder, this manufacturing is only for the items below that were eligible for Wave 1 shipping. All other items, including Elemental Uprising itself, are estimated for an August 2022 delivery as detailed in this update.

Wave 1 eligible items: Kingdom Rush: Rift in Time Base Game, Sir Gerald Lightseeker vs. J.T. Expansion, Vez’nan vs. Moloch Expansion, Spider Goddess Expansion, Emperor Chest, Recrafted Deluxe Upgrade for Rift in Time, and Soldier Miniatures for Rift in Time, 3D Towers, and 3D Token Upgrade.

While production is underway for Wave 1, we are continuing the development and playtesting of Elemental Uprising. We are now polishing the final core box scenarios and implementing the feedback from testers. Alongside this we've started working on the two expansions: Dark Elf Slayer and Gnomish Gnonsense and we are really looking forward to sharing more about them!

Both Reg'son and Razz & Rags, the new heroes coming with these boxes, have cool and unique special abilities. We’re also having fun with new mechanics, such as sheep hordes, which will be really different from what you may have faced in Rift in Time and present some interesting challenges!
