SCRAP is an asymmetric 3X (Expand, Exploit, Exterminate) style game driven by a unique mix of action programming and hand management. Your Bots seek to learn all about "The Singularity". Be the first to collect 50 Data, and you'll be the first to discover the secrets behind the event that changed the universe forever!

In order to gather Data, you'll need to FORGE more Bots on planet Seratus, MANEUVER them into position, and then get ready to SCAVENGE or RAID to secure valuable Artefacts and other prizes.

However, you're not alone on the planet; other Bots have arrived on Seratus, and they too seek to scour the planet for its secrets. Bring the fight to your enemies through a unique and cinematic bidding-style battle system. Set commands for each Bot in Battle; PROBE the enemy to learn more, BRACE for impact, FIRE at will, and get ready to BRAWL!

A TURN OF SCRAP

1. Run your Active Function and Power-Up!

Reveal the rightmost Function (action card) in your Queue and resolve it (these will have been prepared on previous turns). Functions let you do all kinds of things, like moving Bots around the planet, gathering energy, scavenging for data, or launching raids to secure artefacts and eliminate the opposition. You may also discard a Function of the same Domain as the revealed Function to POWER-UP and activate bonus effects! Knowing when to Power-Up and when to conserve cards is a key part of play!

2. Focus on a Domain and Call a Subroutine

Shift your Focus to a different Domain, develop your Knowledge in it, and then perform a minor action (known as a Subroutine) from it. There are a wide range of Subroutines that provide different benefits, and you gain access to a greater variety as you advance. Along the way, you may even acquire new Functions for future use!

3. Queue Functions for the Future

Advance any Function(s) in your Queue and fill it with Functions until its at its limit (usually 2). Note that the Function you plan this turn is NOT the action you'll take next turn, but the turn after! Plan well, anticipate your opponents' plays, and reap the rewards!
