Conditions:
  • Selling our Deluxe Games below the Gamefound price is prohibited. The Gamefound prices are 89€ (deluxe) / 119€ (deluxe all-in), excluding VAT. Retailers in the EU need to add VAT on top when selling our deluxe games.
  • Order must be in case quantities. 4 copies (Deluxe edition) / 6 copies (Standard edition) per case.

About us

Risks and challenges

This is our 15th Crowdfunding Campaign. Pixie Queen, Chimera Station, Gentes, Gùgōng, Fuji Koro, Gùgōng: Pànjūn, Paris, Arkwright: The Card Game, Rulebenders, and Paris: l'Etoile have been successfully delivered. The fulfillment of Stroganov and Hippocrates will be completely finished by the end of June. Mass production of The Palaces of Carrara 2nd edition and Oak has started. We're on schedule to deliver both games by October 2022.

Our projects are developed with both backers and retail distribution in mind. Backers help get the game off the ground and are rewarded with a deluxe limited edition copy of the game. Retail editions help us keep the production costs of both versions lower, by increasing the production volume to 10 to 18k copies.

If we don't encounter a worldwide logistical crisis like in 2021, we will put all games, retail and deluxe, on the same ships to different parts of the world. We then prioritize delivery to the local fulfillment centers, a few weeks before we send games via normal distribution.

But, while we aim for backers to receive their games first, Game Brewer does not guarantee/promise early access for backers. If there is any unforeseen delay in the fulfillment of your game, that doesn't mean we would delay the normal distribution of the other versions, as that would hurt our business and the business of our partners.

If early delivery is essential to you, do NOT back this campaign.

Refunds and cancellation

We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of no questions asked, though that’s minus 10%, which covers Gamefound's fee, payment provider fees, and administration costs. However, if we’ve begun packaging your pledge for shipment, no refunds are possible. If a component or game cannot be delivered AT ALL, we will refund that completely, including fees. This project is being funded in EURO and any refunds processed will be in EURO for the exact amount received in EURO, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.

Environmental Commitments

Long-Lasting Design
We only work together with manufacturers that are able to deliver quality products with good durability.

Sustainable Materials
All our cardboard and paper components are made of FSC-certified materials. Boardgame manufacturers usually can't supply an official FSC certificate, but we make sure that their suppliers can. Furthermore, we avoid the use of single-use plastics as much as we can. That's the main reason why we stopped offering plastic inserts.

Environmentally Friendly Factories
Besides an FSC-certificate, we demand from our manufacturer the use of environmentally friendly materials, like lead-free paint. All games are tested to comply with the applicable EU and US regulations for toys.

Sustainable Distribution
Although we don't always control the packaging materials of other fulfillment centers, we strive for 100% plastic-free packaging and protection materials in our own fulfillment center (www.meepleshipper.com) in Europe.
