The headphones on your Stalkman Radio suddenly crackle and feed back, causing your mangy fur ears to twitch in the dank air around you. As you glance at it, the tape starts to rewind spewing out a monotone voice, “I see you're near the primary drainage line”. You freeze and make eye contact with your demonic cohort as they cock an eyebrow. “I’d like you to run a little errand for me while you are down there,” the voice continues. “The Network is burrowing a new tendril into the lab of the spore alchemist you are headed to. Flood it, IF you desire to please me.” The tape screeches and the smell of burn plastic momentarily overwhelms the fetid aroma of the sewers around us. It won’t be the first time you’ve done a job for Thraxis the demon prince, but it looks like you aren’t getting those Displacer Tabs you came down here for either way.

We find ourselves here in Pentagram City in the year of our dark lord 2012. CyberMetal2012 is a tabletop roleplaying game of demons, metalheads, and weirdos surviving and thriving in an isolated city of warped technology in an alternate timeline.

Tell stories of demon worshiping, drug running, debt cancelling, consciousness uploading, and whatever the hell else you can come up with in a low-fi cyberpunk sandbox. CyberMetal2012 blends traditional challenge-based roleplaying with modern narrative mechanics creating a uniquely satisfying blend that encourages novel stories in a sprawling anti-canon setting that you can twist to your will.


As Citizens of Pentagram City, you aren’t heroes, you aren’t powerful, you aren’t even important. You're an 8 track tape, good for a couple of plays before your broken shell is tossed under the wheels of confusion like worthless trash. You won't climb the ranks of this city, but you will do what you can to make life better for yourself and the other citizens while avoiding the Fuckers out there who want to rip your soul from your body and upload it to the hardwired web.

CyberMetal 2012 is the catalyst event that rips open the games to the DEATH AGENT ROLEPLAYING TIMELINE SERIES (D.A.R.T.S.). This alternate history has tons of critical paths and radical stories that we can’t wait to explore and tell, and CyberMetal 2012 is just the first! We hope to build on the success of CM2012,to develop and publish additional standalone games in the same timeline to highlight important D.A.R.T.S events, characters, and tales. Some games are already in development, like Hell War 1991, Panic! 1982, Exodus 1999, and more! Supporting this project will help make it, and the whole series of games an alternate reality to keep you entertained, and me busy, for years to come.
