Project overview
Vowl is a fast-paced word game with a unique, tiered scoring system in which players will race against both time and each other to recognize more than 400 words that have had their vowels removed.
Turns are quick. The clock is running, and the pressure will be on as you try to solve all of your cards in 25 seconds. Each turn you'll play in 1 of 3 distinct game modes. Every time you succeed, you'll get to choose how you score points on your path to victory.
GameplayOn your turn, you'll roll dice to determine how many basic cards you draw and what game mode you'll be playing this turn:
Then, you'll draw extra cards based on the amount of points you have. The better you are doing, the harder the game becomes! Time won't be on your side as you race to get through your pile of cards. Valid solutions for each card must follow these 4 simple rules:If you're successful, you'll get to choose how you wish to gain points, taking 2 victory points, or opting to take just 1 while also lowering your victory marker and an opponent's victory marker 1 space each. The first player to have their scoring marker reach their victory marker is the winner!
