Fixers from the Floorboards is a complete role-playing game created by Robert Turk (author and designer of Purgatory House, Starship Infernum, WyrdScouts, and Goblonia).
It explores the adventures of four-inch-tall heroes as they navigate their over-sized surroundings, solve predicaments for the Big Folk, restore harmony in their demaine, and try their hardest not to get caught.
The zine itself will be professionally printed in the USA as a digest-sized book, saddle stitched (stapled) with a soft-touch color cover and black-and-white interior.
The 44 pg rule-book contains the complete rules for the game, including:
- Background on the Korrikin
- Player-driven setup of the demaine, its inhabitants, and predicaments
- Character creation rules featuring four distinct callings and ability customization
- An intuitive Skill Path + Bonus dice system (using six-sided dice)
- A robust teamwork mechanic (tiny people have to work together to get stuff done)
- Guidelines and examples on how to start, run, and wrap up the story
- Three sample domaines with floor plans
- Soft-touch laminated cover (so it feels nice and lasts longer)
- Altered public-domain imagery sourced from antique books
