Aleksi has been producing illustrations, comic-book pages, concept arts and providing art direction for many years. 15 years ago, he designed the first five planeswalkers cards for Magic: the Gathering.

Over a hundred cards and a decade later, he takes a look back at these mythical characters and pays homage to the “Lorwyn five” by designing whole new extended artworks, to be featured on a wider canvas: high quality black stitched playmats.
