We were told that King Arthur faced with his army the hosts of Mordred at Camlann. We were told that Mordred was badly wounded and died; that a moribund Arthur was taken to Avalon to rest. We were told to expect his return when Britannia needs him.

But what if the legend is not as we have been told?

What if King Arthur died at the Battle of Camlann? What if Mordred won, aided by dark powers? What if he became the new High King of Britain alongside his nefarious mother, Queen Morgawse?

This is The Winter King, the tabletop roleplaying game.
