Tiny Library: Modern Fantasy is deck of 51 cards featuring custom rules and concepts from 51 different RPG creators.

Each card is a unique design representing a distinct vision.

Players will...

build a mystic subway network
carpe noctem before the final sunrise
glimpse horrors beyond mortal understanding

and so, so much more.

These cards aren't stand-alone games with tables and charts for every scenario.

Each is a small fragment: locations, ideas and sometimes pure vibes necessary to any roleplaying session. It could be a core part of the game system or just a cool idea for a single scene. The unifying theme is the concept of 'modern fantasy' however each creator interprets it.

We used the concept of MOSAIC Strict as a design principal. There's full info at the blog article Nothing at the Bottom: MOSAIC Strict RPG Design but the key aspects are:

Modular: Each card can be mixed and swapped with others to build a unique experience.
Optional: None are necessary to play. If you don't like it, put it back in the box!
Short: They each fit on a single playing card (perhaps in your pocket?)
Attested: This means they say 'Mosaic Strict' somewhere so we can build the movement.
Independent: None of the cards explicitly refer to other rules so you'll never look up another table.
Coreless: There are no assumed mechanics beyond free-form play, so they're compatible with literally anything.

This is a rare opportunity to be genuinely surprised by the contents of a crowdfunding campaign, so we won't be showing everything here.

Important: this project is not for everybody! Long Tail Games does not publish luxury products. The cards are gloriously inconsistent. The aesthetic, tone and mechanics are all wildly different. Dozens of creators were involved and everybody had complete control over their card.

In order to reduce fulfilment costs, all physical rewards will be shipped from different warehouses in multiple regions: USA, UK, Australia, and the EU. This reduces the cost and uncertainty of international shipping as much as possible.

You may notice there are no shipping charges included in these reward tiers.

After the campaign, you will receive an email from Cardboard Monster to collect shipping. This will be delayed as long as possible to give you the most accurate (and cheapest) rates possible.

This means we can't give final shipping rates at this time. However, the figures below are examples to give a rough sense of potential shipping rates in your region (of course depending on the state of the world).
