Blank Me, Senpai is a party game for anime fans, by anime fans. Using their knowledge (or lack thereof) of anime tropes, 4-8 players compete to create wacky characters and scenarios.

Each box contains cat girls, huge mechas, hot springs, and, of course, “plot”. Lots of bouncy, jiggly “plot”. And yes, our cards do have visuals- why do you ask?

Plus, the game is customizable: while every base deck is the same, you’ll have the ability to purchase character and theme-based expansion packs. That means if you want your deck to center around your waifu, you can do that. Or if you want to make Blank Me, Senpai! an isekai party game for some reason, you can do that, too! The possibilities are endless*!

Blank Me, Senpai was born out of the desire to have an anime game that was easy to pick up and play for all stripes of anime fans- from the hardcore OVA collector to the seasonal anime watcher. We wanted a game we could play with our friends or random strangers at cons without having to deal with clashing tastes in anime. It doesn’t matter if you like shoujo, shounen, or seinen- you’ll be able to laugh at the game.

Once we started playtesting the game, and saw the overwhelmingly positive support for the game and its characters, we realized we had a game that could be of value to the anime community. We hope that the game will not just be a fun experience, but a permanent part of anime fans’ collections for years to come.

Okay, so there’s a bit more to it, but “as easy as 1-2-3” makes for good marketing.

You might have noticed from the photos of the cards that there are 4 characters that appear on the cards. These characters are part of our Blank Me Senpai! universe, which focuses on a girl named Hikari who is hopelessly in love with her senpai. In her futile attempts to get him to notice her, she drags him and her friends into various wacky, 4th wall-breaking scenarios. Each card in Blank Me, Senpai! displays a miniature scenario in these character’s strange lives.

We want Blank Me, Senpai! to be more than just a game, but to be a piece of art you can display alongside your figurines, posters, and body pillows. In support of this goal, we aim to build a series of expansions, incorporating a variety of art styles and themes. This way, you can customize your game to your specific tastes.

We're offering four expansions that will add specific genre tropes to your game:

Love Me, Senpai (Hikari’s Pack): A pack based on romance and school anime tropes.
It’s Me, Senpai (Hiro’s Pack): A pack based on isekai and harem anime tropes.
Save Me, Senpai (Sakura’s Pack): A pack based on magical girl and fantasy anime tropes.
Teach Me, Senpai (Daichi’s Pack): A pack based on mecha and science fiction anime tropes.

Each expansion comes with 50 cards.

Our pricing is pretty simple:

For $0, you can get an unillustrated print-and-play version of the game.
$5 nets you an illustrated print-and-play version of the game.
$25 nets you the base game (MSRP: $30).

You may need to pay a bit more for shipping (depending on how much you pledge). For pledges $20 and above, you will need to pay:

$5 for shipping to the US and Canada
$7 for shipping to the EU
$9 for shipping to all other regions

Anything extra you pledge goes to getting expansions or merch.
