The Shadow Planet™: The Board Game is a funded on Kickstarter retro sci-fi game set on a planet hiding ancient and alien horror. Its story is based on the Italian graphic novel expertly written and illustrated by the Blasteroid Bros, who were inspired by movie classics, such as Forbidden Planet, The Thing or Alien. The game’s innovative mechanics have been designed by Gianluca and Giacomo Santopietro, veteran creators famous – among other titles – for Letters from Whitechapel and H.P. Lovecraft: Kingsport Festival. This has resulted in a very unique blend of a gripping horror plot, and rules encompassing a revolutionary system of deck-building, strategy and hidden goals.
