Gameplay Options

Play one-shot single scenarios (20 scenarios included), play one of 4 bigger campaigns with 8+ scenarios each or play a random boss monster encounter using optional door and room events? It is fully up to you - choose however the mood strikes you!

Combined with quick setup, the possibility to play completely solo using one character or with up to 6 players and an initiative system that keeps all players engaged and allowing full freedom during your turn on what to do next.

And if you need more, you can add the first expansion Arcane Abominations, adding 4 new characters, a new campaign and more monsters and modifiers for more insane combinations. Also includes a better solution to track HP/PP! We will discuss detailed contents of the expansion during the campaign, so look out for updates!

Rules

You can find the current Rule Book and the Quick Start Guide as well as a small Errata/FAQ document on the website for download. All Errata information will be worked into the re-print. Let us know, if you have any more questions or complaints about the rule book or the quick start guide and we will make sure to also include this information in the second print rule books.

Feel free to upload the PDF files to NotebookLM and ask questions about the rules - this works surprisingly well and gives back citations too. Even questions like "I got directly defeated at the start of the game. Am I doing something wrong, what could I do?" will give you information about optional rules and tips to start with a better character.

Campaigns and scenarios

In the Tabletop Simulator Mod you can test 4 single scenarios and the beginning of a campaign (Invasion of the Greenskins). Download the PDFs and take a look at how a scenario or campaign is structured. Note: These are pre-release versions from the Kickstarter 2022, so they may still contain errors or unfinished artwork and should only serve as an example.
