Get ready to elevate your campaign launch process to new levels! After looking into your feedback, we are excited to present a significant update that makes launching a campaign easier than ever. We’re also bringing you another major update allowing for product availability per location.
 
Testing Mode 2.0
 
We've taken your feedback into account, and our goal here was to make launching as easy as it can be. You can now test the purchase process during any phase at any time, to ensure your backers have a seamless experience.
 
Testing Mode 2.0 includes:
  1. A new tab in “Project settings”: The new tab now has a "Testing mode" area. This functionality is available to those with an admin role and provides you with easy control over who has access to the testing area.
  2. Clear “Testing Mode” Status: To ensure no mistakes are made, you'll always know if you're in testing mode thanks to a large blue bar indicating as such. To enable the test purchases option the admin of the project needs to assign a tester role. Without a tester role, you can only preview different campaign stages and view hidden products within the testing mode.
  3. Flexible Project Phase Testing: You now have the flexibility to choose the precise project phase – even future phases – that you want to test.
  4. Stress-Free Test Order Management: Get rid of test orders quickly and easily with a single click, saving you time and stress. These orders consist of fake payments and do not affect the project statistics in any way.
 
In addition to all of the above, it is also possible to copy an existing order, creating a test copy you can play around with. This will show you how the changes introduced will affect an existing order. Developing Testing Mode 2.0 was challenging, but we are fully committed to improving your experience and this type of control and visibility has been something you’ve been asking for. It’s our goal to always ensure that using Gamefound is as easy and stress-free as we can make it!
 
Product availability for selected locations

Decide what products are available in what locations. There’s no need to worry about backers feeling excluded – they won’t be able to see what isn’t available to them. For example, if you don’t want an add-on to be available in Poland – all you need to do is change this option in the settings. More on that can be found here.
On top of these two major updates, we’ve also removed the automatic capitalization of project titles. Check out the new functionalities and let us know if there is anything else you'd like to see in the future.
